Commerce, Data & Identity (CDI) provides the core product management functions for areas crucial to Disney's media businesses. These include initiatives and products that power digital commerce, identity, and growth, as well as those that reach uniquely across The Walt Disney Company enterprise, such as messaging and privacy, among others. Additionally, it is responsible for the data engineering, science, and products for Disney Entertainment & ESPN, along with their interconnection with other parts of The Walt Disney Company.
Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Product Operations position within Commerce, Data, and Identity (CDI) Operations sits at the intersection of Product, Design, Engineering, and Disney's subscribers. The primary responsibility for this role is to serve as the trusted right-hand to CDI's Senior Vice President of Product Management ensuring effective team operations, driving execution of key initiatives, and facilitating change management.
This role will be critical to:
Serve as the primary point of contact and first line of defense for inbound CDI requests. This includes being seen as a subject-matter expert - handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
Build and foster effective working relationships with CDI team members as well as cross-functional partners for increased efficiency and responsiveness in communications
Partner with back office functions on key activities related to talent management (headcount management), finance (budget management), communications (executive reporting, newsletters, internal team discussions), as well as legal and compliance
Rationalize business inputs including stakeholder requirements, financial constraints, and engineering resources to determine impact
Maintain a clear understanding of active and pending requests, projects, timelines, and progress
Develop, maintain, and execute ownership of assigned projects from concept to completion
Implement procedures and process improvements to help internal teams run efficiently
Serve as the primary point of contact and communicator on behalf of Commerce, Data, and Identity
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
Ability to work autonomously on behalf of the CDI leadership team to accomplish key tasks
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and build alignment among multiple groups and key stakeholders across Product, Design, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management
Proficiency with core Product Management tool suites, including JIRA, Confluence, Airtable, Miro, Lucid, etc.
Action-oriented with strong attention to detail
Ability to operate in a fast-paced highly iterative environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, and multitask assignments effectively
Willingness to take initiative and follow through on projects while working independently and proactively with minimal supervision

The hiring range for this position in California is $167,200 - $246,400 per year, in NYC area is $175,800-$235,700. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
