Join us in the Strategic Communication Solutions department as a Summer Intern student starting in May 2026. This role is onsite, Richardson, TX. This role may be eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do:
You will contribute to the success of a cross-functional team.
You will assist Electrical Engineers in design, development, integration, or testing associated with one of our projects.
You will prepare and present project / technical information to peers and leadership.
You will plan and manage tasks effectively.
You will not need to travel for this position.
What You Will Learn:
You will learn about our products and be assisted in your tasks by subject matter experts.
You will work with experienced electrical engineers to learn best practices and engineering processes for implementing Very Low Frequency (VLF) communications technology.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
Courses focused on digital, analog, power, filters, or controls.
Circuit card design experience is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
