Spectrolab, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company's Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) business unit has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Production Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Sylmar, California .

Position Responsibilities:

Assists with the development of new or revised processes.

Guides routine production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.

Reviews standard technical documents.

Guides others in complying with manpower requirements.

Collects and interprets data to report to managers.

Assists in translating data into actionable plan. Reviews and validates corrective action plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 2nd shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience in a manufacturing or factory support environment

Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions

Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Experience with wiring processes. Examples include crimping, forming, and/or solder sleeves

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $56,100 - $75,900
