Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supplier development, contract negotiations, and performance management, with the ability to address supplier performance issues and drive results in new and ambiguous environments. This role requires strong program management expertise, technical depth, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse cross-functional stakeholders to advance Kuiper's mission.
Key job responsibilities
Specifically, in this role you will:
Monitor and resolve supply chain challenges, including material availability, capacity constraints, and logistics, to ensure on-time delivery.
Track supplier performance to cost, quality, and schedule targets; identify risks early and implement mitigation plans to maintain program commitments.
Lead supplier readiness for production by ensuring manufacturing processes, tooling, and resources are capable of meeting program requirements for large composite structures.
Partner with internal engineering, operations, and quality teams to resolve technical and production issues, ensuring supplier alignment with Kuiper program needs.
Drive supplier improvement initiatives in yield, throughput, and cycle time, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, engineering leaders, legal, program management, and supply chain to negotiate a variety of agreements and contracts including term sheets, MOUs, NDAs, SOWs, development agreements, component purchase agreements and others.
Build strong relationships with supplier leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, enabling transparent issue resolution and alignment on program objectives.
Act as the primary interface between Kuiper operations, engineering, and supply chain team, resolving production and technical issues to ensure reliable, on-time delivery

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of people management experience
5+ years of technical program management experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
5+ years experience in Supply Chain Operations
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience with Agile or other program management methodologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $147,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $254,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
