Technician Associate

Our client, the electric utility industry, is seeking a Technician Associate to join their team. As a Technician Associate, you will be part of the Grid Modernization and Transmission Projects supporting design and analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technician Associate

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Pay Range: 23.57

What's the Job?

Utilize DDS software to analyze distribution utility poles for grid modernization or line rebuild projects.

Track project due dates and collaborate with design teams, project managers, and line coordinators to ensure design accuracy and quality.

Assist in handling routine problems and support the development of technical reports and documentation.

Support design of grid modernization and transmission-related projects across service territories.

Participate in travel as needed for project support and damage assessment during storms.

What's Needed?

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of related utility industry experience or an Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Ability to read and understand schematic drawings.

Comfortable with customer service and data entry tasks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Physical demand level is sedentary; ability to support travel within service territory.
