Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Contract Recruiter to perform full-cycle recruiting to meet our operational needs. This includes sourcing talent, screening and evaluating candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending offers. The successful candidate will ensure all screening, hiring, and selection processes are compliant with employment-related laws and regulations, facilitating the hiring of the most qualified and diverse applicants. Additionally, the recruiter will develop competitive candidate offer packages that support employee equity and administer candidate assessments, reviewing results with hiring managers to ensure alignment with our cultural values.

Responsibilities

Create a candidate experience that represents our company, the opportunity, and our culture.

Create performance-based and compelling content for job advertisements and postings.

Establish key sourcing relationships by researching, contacting, and visiting community services, trade schools, automotive venues and events, colleges and universities, and employment agencies.

Ensure source contacts are kept up to date with organization information, opportunities, and benefits.

Develop and post positions, utilizing social media to source applicants.

Manage and staff recruiting events to maintain a full recruiting pipeline and enhance employer reputation.

Attend industry and local events to network, recruit, and build referral sources.

Support new employee onboarding to ensure a positive experience.

Collaborate with hiring managers and colleagues to continually improve processes and the hiring experience.

Deliver candidate declines with compassion and in a timely manner.

Stay current with recruiting trends and best practices.

Manage all candidate data and documentation in the applicant tracking system to ensure information is current and complete.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Four (4) plus years of full-cycle exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience.

Experience with applicant tracking systems.

Full-cycle in-house recruiting expertise.

High volume/non-technical recruiting experience.

Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate degree in human resources, business, marketing, or related field.

Experience recruiting in an automotive manufacturing or related environment.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in Torrance, where you will engage with a dynamic team committed to excellence in recruitment. Our environment fosters collaboration and continual improvement in all processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a 4 Month Contract position based out of Torrance, California - with potential for extension.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
