Accountant I (Remote)

? Remote | Full-Time | Exempt | Day Shift (Monday-Friday)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Accountant I to join our finance team. This role is responsible for performing general accounting functions, maintaining financial records, and supporting accurate reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general accounting functions within the finance department.

Maintain and reconcile financial records in compliance with policy and regulatory standards.

Safeguard cash, checks, receivables, and payables.

Analyze data for accuracy and integrity, reviewing critical financial information.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Support financial reporting, audits, and other departmental initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

1-3 years of accounting experience preferred.

Experience with personal computers, spreadsheets, and Windows-based applications.

Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work under time pressures and meet measurable standards.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to change.

Work Schedule

Remote position.

Day shift, Monday-Friday.

Overtime and weekend work may be required occasionally.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods and use hands/fingers for computer and clerical work.

Occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or repetitive motion.

Close and distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition for reviewing documents and reports.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
