WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As a member of the Footwear Development team, you will work with key multi-functional team partners like Product Design, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Operations. You will also be the key partner to our teams in Asia, including our factory partners, to ensure we are creating the product that exceeds our consumer expectations. You will need to work within the Nike matrix to ensure our products meet our Footwear Development standard methodologies for product excellence. You will also be a key point of contact for our manufacturing partners and ensure that communication during the product development process is clear and accurate.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Do you have a passion for sports, footwear, and delivering amazing product for athletes all around the world? We are looking for a Senior Product Developer who will work with cross functional partners to create and drive our product process. You will be an integral part of our Footwear Product Team to help drive product excellence! You will convert a project brief and a 2D design rendering into a 3D sample that meets the needs of our consumer. The candidate needs to be curious, team focused, have a passion for learning, solution oriented, and demonstrate a positive demeanor.

We are hiring for two openings.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Design, Engineering, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

Proven verbal and written communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives

Strong team first mentality that instills trust to deliver product excellence

Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

Experience in project management

Creative problem-solving skills from concepts to application.

Knowledge of product construction concepts, materials, and the product creation life cycle

Demonstrates base level understanding of Consumer Product or Hardgoods

The ability to read technical drawings, sketches and/or 3D digital files is a plus

Ability to prioritize multiple work streams with competing priorities to deliver on tight timelines

Knowledge of footwear pattern engineering, tooling or manufacturing processes is a plus

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Lead, guide and follow through on making decisions that will lead to timely product confirmation and sample delivery.

Execute product creation according to critical dates and performance/profitability goals.

Work with your multi-functional teammates to ensure manufacturability of product concepts.

Develop and utilize footwear knowledge to drive results and appropriately achieve project designs.

Apply fundamental understanding of multiple sports and standard methodologies to assure product quality and craftsmanship.

Engage in all phases of the product process to ensure projects are completed on time, can be commercialized, manufactured, while meeting design intent performance, costing and sustainability goals.
