Job Title: Regional Manager Northeast Region

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Classification: Full Time/Professional

Status: Exempt

The Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term sales and operations of a company's branches across a geographic region. The Regional Manager will be responsible for setting and adjusting goals and overseeing the training of managers and others in the region s/he is responsible for .

Purpose

Lead Branch Managers in the development of annual Business Plans (including Budgets) designed to achieve strategic objectives.

Achieve the annual revenue growth and profitability targets for assigned Branch Operations, and responsible for P&L.

Routinely evaluate performance conditions, mitigate any shortfalls, and implement necessary changes as deemed necessary.

Lead branch managers to achieve operational, administrative and sales performance metrics and criteria.

Lead branch managers and sales team thru the development and successful execution of local sales strategy.

Ensure the Branches within the Region are working cohesively and supporting their individual Branch operations along with the objectives of the Region and Organization.

Attract and retain a diverse group of highly skilled employees that will passionately deliver uncompromising service.

Manage resources to ensure maximum utilization of company assets (i.e. development and support of supply chain strategy within the assigned region, and supervise execution of regional order fulfillment).

Engage with regional employees through regular branch visits and interactive initiatives that promote teamwork and increase employee morale.

Establish a presence in regions by conducting regular branch visits, staff meetings and engagements with branch managers.

Work with corporate leadership team and colleagues to develop programs and strategies for supporting local operational and sales excellence.

Communicate effectively with assigned branches, both individually and/or collectively, any successes and challenges associated with company policy or strategy change.

Collaborate with assigned branch managers and staff to identify improvement opportunities for the branch, region, or company.

Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.

Report on regional sales results.

Forecast quarterly and annual profits.

Identify hiring needs.

Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility.

Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.

Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.

Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition.

Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.
