Administrative Specialist

Our client, a healthcare facility, is seeking an Administrative Specialist to join their team. As a Administrative Specialist you will be part of the Office department supporting staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic medical records, excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a willingness to assist patients and visitors.

Job Title: Administrative Specialist

Location: Anderson, SC

Pay Range: $13.50 per hour

What's the Job?

Execute front office duties in an accurate, timely and efficient manner treating all patients with dignity and respect.

Check patients in and out respectively, schedule doctor appointments, make reminder calls and update patient information as needed. Will request payment for services rendered.

Responsible for receiving phone consults - will notify team leader by email upon receipt and file completed consults by the month in shared folders.

Provides back-up coverage for Medical Records, Patient Intake and Data Entry Clerk areas as needed. Electronic Medical Records experience a plus.

Positive attitude and willingness to assist patients and visitors

Ability to communicate well with staff and our visitors

Professional work attire (no jeans or t-shirts)

Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1 hour lunch break)

Reliable transportation to and from work
