Description

Robert Half is working with a client in the property management industry to fill an Accounting Clerk position. Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including verifying, coding, and posting invoices (Source: RH Salary Guide 2026).

Manage reimbursement requests and expense reports for compliance and accuracy.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and provide monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card statements (Source: RH Salary Guide 2026).

Assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate documentation of entries.

Collaborate with property management teams to ensure accurate tenant billing and collection.

Perform data entry for vendor and tenant records while maintaining confidentiality.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

1+ years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).

Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to meet deadlines in a multi-tasking environment.

Experience in property management accounting is preferred but not required.
