Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Bookkeeper to join our team in Crystal Lake, Illinois. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong background in bookkeeping processes.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to facilitate timely transactions.

Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

Utilize QuickBooks to record and track financial transactions efficiently.

Prepare financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.

Monitor and update accounting systems to ensure data integrity.

Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding financial matters.

Identify and address any issues in accounting workflows to optimize efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on accounts payable and receivable.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software.

Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.

Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
