Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in St. Charles, Illinois. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a solid background in accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently to maintain accurate records.

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Manage and maintain the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions.

Prepare and post journal entries with precision and attention to detail.

Assist in month-end closing activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.

Analyze financial data to support decision-making and maintain financial integrity.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting operations and processes.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Experience with general ledger and journal entry management.

Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

Familiarity with month-end close procedures.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
