Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Lake Worth, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in managing invoice processing and full-cycle accounts payable functions. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Process approximately 250 invoices weekly with precision and adherence to company policies.

Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice approvals and payment processing.

Perform three-way matching to validate invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.

Utilize the North Star system for efficient financial operations and reporting.

Ensure proper coding of invoices and accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

Execute Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and handle check runs to process payments.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.

Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable documentation for auditing purposes.

Support month-end closing activities by providing accurate accounts payable data

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment handling.

Strong understanding of three-way matching and full-cycle AP procedures.

Familiarity with financial systems, particularly North Star, is preferred.

Proficiency in processing ACH transactions and managing check runs.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
