Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Technologist with deep Department of Defense understanding and a thorough knowledge of the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility. This experience will enable the CTO team to drive the business strategy and technical solutions needed to win our most complex, large scale and strategic proposals while working with the Defense CTO and our numerous GDIT capability teams. This is one of the company's most important customer facing roles, and it will give you the opportunity to provide the strategic direction of our Defense Division Sectors pursuing work in the Pacific Theater. You will be responsible for driving the go-to-market approach and interact with bleeding-edge technologies and collaborate with the teams who are designing and building solutions like those expressed within our Digital Accelerators that we are bringing to our customers. To be successful in this role you must be able to translate relevant details about technologies into a language that DoD personnel appreciate and can be understood by GDIT management and other stakeholders.

Duties include but are not limited to:
During Solution & Capture:
Lead technical solution strategy throughout the Capture and Proposal lifecycle, from early Qualification through Proposal submission.
Contribute to GDIT win strategies and lead the development of technical win themes and solution readiness plans.
Engage current and prospective customers to understand critical needs, socialize and vet solutions, and advise on strategies to shape acquisitions that achieve desired results.
Represent the broader CTO organization with customers to ensure technology solutions are translated into INDOPACOM specific needs
Identify and select the best technical solutions and approaches to meet anticipated or actual acquisition requirements.
Prioritize INDOPACOM needs to influence CTO investments
Lead solution design and the development of key artifacts including, but not limited to architectural models, process diagrams, concepts of operation, etc.
Develop unsolicited technical recommendations, collateral and RFI/RFP responses to engage prospective customers and position GDIT to win.
Collaborate with GDIT technical service areas and lines of business to identify and bring the best technical and business strategies and solutions to differentiate GDIT.
Contribute to teaming strategies including identifying and vetting potential partners.
Develop cost strategies, LOEs/BOEs/BOMs, and associated rationale.
During Pre-Proposal Planning & Proposal Response:
Support DoD/INDOPACOM's objectives by Tailoring/Enhancing GDIT enterprise offerings for purposes of:
Fostering adoption of GDIT solutions across the DOD
Developing a point of view that addresses tactical edge requirements
Advocating for customer's key program initiatives within GDIT
Craft differentiated, innovative technical approaches to bridge seams within Army/Defense Agencies programs
Tailor existing GDIT offerings/ Identify/Create new offerings; and go to market in a manner that would help DoD/INDOPACOM achieve key mission objectives
Ensure readiness of solution and proposal support team to prepare a compelling and compliant response to the Government's solicitation
Lead development of the technical volumes and orals presentations for proposals
Coach and advise more junior solution architecture and proposal support resources
Ensure integration of technical solution with all sections and volumes of the proposal
Review proposals and provide critical feedback needed to strengthen our solution and proposals
Author Technical volume introductions, key sections and orals slides including developing compelling graphics
Help GDIT to stand out in this highly competitive and opportunity-rich market!
Existing Program Support
Advise the different program managers and their staff on the design, implementation and maintenance of an efficient/effective IT infrastructure to support contract requirements
Provide analytic problem solving to support emerging technology into existing architectures
Provide advice on the testing of technology for implementation into existing IT architectures
When requested, mentor and lead program IT professionals across multiple disciplines in a dynamic enterprise environment
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or related discipline.
Experience designing and delivering solutions in the DoD
10+ years of experience in DoD program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and have served clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems
U.S. citizenship required
Active secret clearance required
Knowledge and understanding of the following organizations: INDOPACOM, USARPAC, PACFLT, PACAF, MARFORPAC, USSF INDOPACIFIC, USFJ, USFK and other entities in the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility
Experience providing technical innovations for the Department of Defense or other large Government organizations
Experience with state-of-the-art IT tools and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux)
Must have experience operating and designing classified and unclassified networks
Familiarity with procedures for disposition, transport, handling, and maintenance of equipment operating at levels of security classification of Secret and above
DevOps Experience on premise and Cloud, Automation, Containerization, Kubernetes
Experience in the development, drafting, and writing of Technical and Program Management solutions in @context of DOD
Experience supervising technical and administrative staff
In-depth knowledge and experience in applying service delivery business models and technologies to deliver successful outcomes that support and enhance customer mission capabilities
Demonstrated understanding of service model conceptualization, design, business case analysis, and implementation
Firm knowledge across and experience in several of the following areas: Cloud Computing, Enterprise IT, Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Software Application Development, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science
Outstanding oral and written communications skills
Knowledgeable and experienced in application and best practices of ITIL Framework
Demonstrated ability to strategize and co-develop solutions that accelerate DoD customers attainment of mission objectives
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced Degree related discipline Engineering, Business Information Systems, Technology Management, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Business with a Technical Background
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, unstructured environment
Currency with DoD technical approaches specifically related to next generation adoption of Cloud, Network and Cybersecurity emerging technologies
Experience working in a P&L capacity and understanding the balance of delivering solutions that meet business-oriented objectives
Relevant professional engineer/service framework certifications
ITIL certification
The likely salary range for this position is $182,750 - $247,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
