This is an on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments.

Administer and manage VMware infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, vSAN, and VM provisioning.

Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes to maintain system security.

Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.

Support storage solutions, networking configurations, and integration with virtualization environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure projects.

Develop and maintain system documentation, diagrams, and procedures.

Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation support for technical issues.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

3+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator.

Strong expertise with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.

Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Familiarity with storage area networks (SAN/NAS), backup solutions, and disaster recovery tools.

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, routing).

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Server+) preferred.
