What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and assisting with access control as required.
Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms, including utilizing appropriate defensive tools as an armed professional.
What We're Looking For:

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
Possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preference given to candidates with this experience.
Have access control or badge experience, preference given to candidates with this experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
