Now let's talk about the role:

SUMMARY: Responsible for the execution of sales strategy for local topline sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker down-line sales within the market for the book of business they manage through training, relationship management, member retention and sales growth.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 4 years health insurance sales experience OR Master's Degree with 2 years health insurance sales experience OR 8 years health insurance sales experience

Experience managing broker and/or field sales staff

Experience in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals

Knowledge of the health insurance industry, the producer community and consumer markets products

Must possess the ability to executive on strategy

Strong marketing, consultative and training skills

Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills, building relationships, developing and facilitating presentations and interviewing

Must be comfortable presenting to large groups

Knowledge and skills of PC applications and databases

Must have strong MS Office skills to include Word, Outlook and Excel

Possess an active department of insurance license from the state of residence or reciprocity with federal regulations

Preferred Job Requirements

Experience with Medicare products (Including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Supplement products)

Adherence to CMS Medicare marketing guidelines and procedures, customer features, benefits and Medicare & Medicaid knowledge preferred

Work Location - Nashville, TN (must be located in/or near area) Travel - Locally 75% Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance - mileage reimbursement provided Bilingual preferred, but is not required Valid local state Agent Health and Life Insurance license is required

Compensation: $75,900.00 - $113,700.00
