Integrated Marketing Strategist

Summary:

The Integrated Marketing Specialist is a compelling storyteller, has excellent communication skills, and demonstrates a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and video production. This role is vital in promoting NEOMED's brand and reputation.

Principal Functional Responsibilities:

Campaign Management: Develop and implement effective marketing and communication campaigns to highlight NEOMED students, faculty, and programs. Create engaging content for the University's website, social media channels and print materials. Manage, maintain, and consistently contribute to the University's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to identify and communicate key messages and initiatives that highlight the success of NEOMED . Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Market Research: Monitor and analyze impact of marketing efforts.

Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field

Minimum two years' experience in marketing and communications and/ or journalism

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working at a higher education and/or healthcare institution

Advanced understanding and skills of video production and editing

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.

Department Specific Information:

Individuals with broadcast journalism and media pitching experience are encouraged to apply.
