Associate, Information Technology (Help Desk)

The Associate, Information Technology is responsible for providing effective front line help desk services with application access and first level trouble shooting. Position will be working hybrid based in San Juan, PR.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Re-sets application passwords.

Assists the bank employees with desktop issues via Help Desk.

Perform basic troubleshooting to identify possible issues.

Basic equipment and installation of application.

Identifies user's hardware & software needs, provides immediate assistance, or refers needs to the proper division.

Identify areas in need of improvement and provide possible solutions.

Work with the access request (OSR) assigned by management.

Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate Degree in Information Systems or related field required. Other educational backgrounds may be considered.

One (1) year of experience in Information Technology, help desk, customer service or similar required.

Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

Knowledge of end-user access security administration preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish & English required.

Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with clients is required.

Knowledge and experience of computer troubleshooting and resolution, Microsoft Windows-based end-user computing environments & Telephony Services required.

Flexibility to work through existing IT Helpdesk shifts and availability to adapt to operational needs, required.

WORK AUTHORIZATION & ELEGIBILITY:

Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.

Employee is responsible for maintaining eligible work authorization throughout his tenure with the organization.
