The Associate, Loss Mitigation (Technical Planning) is responsible for the monitoring, analyzing and supporting the implementation of system upgrades, new loss mitigation alternatives and any other new requirements resulting from the Investors or Guarantors communications for all the products delegated.
Execute testing, implementation and adoption plans delegated. Prepare reports, analyze statistics, propose strategies, confirm data and execute any update to the loss mitigation documentation as needed to ensure unit's compliance and operational efficiencies.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support in planning, developing, and deploying internal communications and trainings that enhance Loss Mitigation strategies and operations.
Responsible for conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on system changes to assure compliance with investors, guarantors or specific regulation.
Support management in ensuring that implementations and changes related to system changes are in place and provide consistent support to Loss Mitigation staff.
Develop initiatives to facilitate understanding and adoption of new instructions, digital channels, or changes in processes.
Develop and implement documentations and tools to facilitates process adoption and compliance within Loss Mitigation operation.
Work in a cross functional role with all Loss Mitigation Staff, technologies and areas to review impact of other areas initiatives, projects, instructions, or processes.
Serve as liaison between Bank and Back in the Black (BITB) and operational end-users for system consultations, drive responses and steps to follow to cover business needs.
Collaborate with the Delinquency Management Unit in any given initiative or project, by evaluating systems processes or data available, identifies requirements and areas for improvement and implements solutions.
Provide support to management in all staff-related topic according to Banks procedures and escalates corresponding topics in a timely manner.
Identifies and document defects found during the user acceptance test.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associate, technical degree or approved credits in Business Administration or related field required. Finance or Accounting majors preferred.
Two (2)+ years working in Delinquency Management related area highly desirable. Experience managing loss mitigation related developments and new projects implementation preferred.
Minimum experience requirement can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Broad knowledge and experience in Loss Mitigation, Delinquency Management and/or related business areas preferred.
Adept in organizing, managing, and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent oral & written communication skills in Spanish & English, being able to communicate at all organizational levels.
Expertise in computer skills, including but not limited to the Microsoft Office suite required.
WORK AUTHORIZATION & ELEGIBILITY:
Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
