Job Title: AI&T Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Test Engineer to support spacecraft test campaigns by developing test plans, writing test architecture, and documenting test outcomes. You will play a critical role in developing assembly and test processes for satellite subsystems and integration while leading a team of test engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

Support spacecraft test campaigns by developing and executing test plans.

Write and document test architecture and outcomes.

Develop assembly and test processes for satellite subsystems and integration.

Lead a team of test engineers and technicians.

Manage teams and support testing remotely in Florida and California.

Ensure communication between different locations is consistent and effective.

Support business development efforts by ensuring the scope of work is correct and contributing to proposal efforts, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Essential Skills

Experience in environmental testing, EMI/EMC testing, and test architecture.

Leadership skills with a proven track record in leading engineering teams.

Proficiency in writing test plans.

Experience with spacecraft or satellite systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with TVAC, shock, and vibration testing.

A background in spacecraft or satellite engineering.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment, with opportunities to lead all testing activities. You will be involved in discussions about building a new facility in Colorado, and contribute to its development. This position offers the potential to become the most senior person at the new facility, with a pathway to a managerial role in the future.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $82.00 - $102.00/hr.
