Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic organization that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in managing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank statements.

Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Perform variance analyses and prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Collaborate with other departments to collect financial data and support budget preparations.

Assist with audits, preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.

Contribute to process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

2+ years of proven accounting experience; public accounting or corporate accounting preferred.

Experience with financial systems and ERP software; proficiency in [specific software, e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP] is preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups) and other financial analytics tools.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and standard accounting practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams.
