Assistant Manufacturing Maintenance Manager - 1st Shift

Salary: $74,000 - $112,000 annually

What You'll Do:

Support the Maintenance Manager in leading Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians

Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Champion safety and compliance (OSHA, GMP, FDA, EPA standards)

Guide supervisors to execute preventive maintenance schedules and resolve frontline challenges

Monitor key metrics (MTBF, MTTR, downtime trends) to reduce breakdowns

Lead and coach root cause analysis (RCA) activities for recurring issues

Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams

Assist in vendor and contractor oversight, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of progressive maintenance experience in manufacturing

2+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and reliability practices (TPM, RCM)

Proficiency with CMMS (SAP or similar)

Excellent leadership, coaching, and cross-functional communication skills

High-energy and hands-on style with strong problem-solving skills
