Project Overview:

Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths

Job Summary:

In this role, you will work with the project team to prepare schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations. You will apply established unit job hour and pricing data, perform schedule integrations, prepare work logic, identify restraints and potential impacts, develop recovery plans, and evaluate subcontractor schedules for improvements. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects stay on track and on time. #LI-CS1

Major Responsibilities:

Prepares schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations

Establishes and maintains the schedule for a specific discipline area or specialty

Performs schedule development duties to include establishing the work breakdown structure (WBS), determining the work activity duration, establishing the proper workflow logic ties, and developing the required job expenditure

Performs schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating functions for specific applications, disciplines, or specialties

Assists with maintenance of critical path schedule reports and schedule performance metrics

Performs schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities

Monitors and validates subcontractor schedules

Assists with schedule recovery plans

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex project controls issues.

Interpersonal skills, creative solution and problem solving skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated capability to schedule complex engineering and construction projects Power technology, prior construction or engineering experience

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Recent advanced level working knowledge of Primavera, Excel, Access, and Word

Additional Information: Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.).
