As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a vibrant hotel and resort location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access points at the hotel, racetrack, and casino to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
Support emergency response activities as required, assisting guests and staff during incidents.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
Maintain a professional presence while interacting with guests, staff, and visitors at the location.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
