About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Middleware Engineering team within the Chief Technology Office (CTO), supporting the Enterprise IBM MQ platform. This role is instrumental in building the next-generation MQ infrastructure for the enterprise.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on automating a standardized, scalable, and resilient MQ platform. You'll apply your engineering expertise to manage complex enterprise infrastructure and develop tooling that supports a well-architected MQ environment. Leveraging modern technology practices and agile methodologies, you will contribute to the evolution of a robust and efficient messaging ecosystem.

In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

4+ years of Java full stack development

4+ years of data modeling experience

2+ years of Ansible experience

Working knowledge of Grafana

Working knowledge of Prometheus/PromQL

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline

Knowledge and understanding of Linux

Job Expectations:

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$100,000.00 - $196,000.00
