Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer (MEP) with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our growing team. This Associate-level role will support the Principal Engineer in designing and executing electrical systems for a variety of commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure successful project execution.

Prepare electrical drawings, calculations, sketches, and specifications.

Conduct electrical studies including short circuit analysis and fault current calculations.

Perform site visits to gather operational data and assess existing equipment.

Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office to develop deliverables.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Manage tasks efficiently with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.

Contribute to a fast-paced, diverse team environment with clear and effective communication.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Ability to obtain NCEES registration.

2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction or consulting.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong understanding of electrical design principles and construction practices.

Familiarity with NEC and other relevant codes and standards.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.

Prior involvement in commercial and residential project design.

Exposure to electrical modeling and simulation tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
