Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis for an estimated duration of 1-2 months. This role is based in Irvine, California, and offers a blend of in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. The position focuses heavily on cash posting (70%) and AR collections (30%), requiring exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in relevant systems.

Responsibilities:

Process and post checks received in the lockbox to customer accounts across all brands.

Manage and post wires and direct payments received to customer accounts for various brands.

Utilize systems such as Full Circle, Shopify, PayPal, Stripe, AmazonPay, and Excel for accurate AR processing.

Access and navigate bank portals for lockbox and direct payment transactions.

Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate cash applications and collections.

Maintain and update customer account records, ensuring all transactions are documented appropriately.

Use YayPay and Converge systems to streamline accounts receivable tasks.

Operate Filezilla for data transfer and file management as needed.

Conduct follow-ups on outstanding payments to minimize overdue balances. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and collections.

Strong proficiency in systems such as Shopify, PayPal, Stripe, AmazonPay, and Excel.

Familiarity with bank portals and lockbox processing.

Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication skills for liaising with customers and internal teams.

Knowledge of YayPay, Converge, and Filezilla is a plus.

Experience in commercial collections or AR billing functions is preferred.
