Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Orange County. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in general ledger management, journal entries, and corporate tax processes.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly prepaid schedules and reconcile prepaid expenses.

Manage month-end close activities such as reconciling balance sheets, recording payroll tax entries, and preparing financial statements.

Ensure compliance with vendor payment records and maintain updated vendor profiles in NetSuite.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries.

Experience with month-end and year-end financial reconciliation and reporting.

Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition processes.

Advanced skills in using accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
