Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves supporting individual giving initiatives and providing assistance with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and send monthly birthday cards to mid-level and ideal leader donors.

Assist with the creation and distribution of newsletters through mail merge processes.

Coordinate premium orders by managing vendor communications and tracking lists.

Serve as a backup for audience services during pledge drives and other peak periods.

Address and prepare envelopes for year-end letters and holiday cards.

Provide general administrative support as needed to maintain office efficiency.

Handle customer service inquiries and deliver prompt, well-considered responses.

Compose correspondence and documents with strong attention to grammar and tone.

Manage database systems efficiently and learn new software tools quickly.

Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within designated timelines. Requirements - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and mail merge tools.

Experience working with databases and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Previous customer service experience with a focus on being detail oriented.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Neat handwriting and ability to prepare documents manually when needed.
