Description We are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Plainview, Texas. In this role, you will oversee and optimize supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between production and logistics to meet customer demands efficiently. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills who can manage scheduling, procurement, and process improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee production schedules across multiple departments to meet customer deadlines and ensure efficient workflows.
Act as a liaison between engineering and production teams to facilitate accurate and timely delivery of drawings and technical specifications.
Collaborate with purchasing teams to identify material requirements and expedite procurement processes to support production timelines.
Prioritize production activities in alignment with shipping schedules and customer delivery commitments.
Work closely with engineering and operations to implement new tooling, manufacturing techniques, and assembly processes for improved efficiency.
Facilitate prototyping and first-article production by working with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and execution.
Maintain and update production schedules within the company's scheduling software to track progress and meet project deadlines.
Provide solutions for material substitutions and communicate with engineering to address challenges in meeting schedules.
Assist in the development of innovative manufacturing processes to produce high-quality end products.
Collaborate with operations to gather shipment data, assign material priorities, and address installation scheduling needs. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics, including procurement and scheduling.
Proficiency in managing global supply chain operations and purchase requests.
Ability to analyze and optimize production workflows and schedules.
Excellent communication skills to act as a bridge between engineering, purchasing, and operations teams.
Proven problem-solving skills to address challenges related to material availability and production timelines.
Familiarity with scheduling software and tools used in manufacturing environments.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, and refurbishment.
