What you'll do...
About the Role
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and strategic support to two senior marketing leaders at Sam's Club: the Chief Marketing Officer (SVP of Marketing) and the Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Planning.
This isn't a traditional EA role. It's a chance to be the right hand to senior executives leading one of the most ambitious marketing transformations in retail. Sam's Club Marketing is evolving into a modern, member-first, culture-led organization - and this role ensures our leaders can move faster, think bigger, and focus on what matters most.
We're looking for a force multiplier - someone who brings sharp judgment, impeccable organization, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate thrives in complexity, can anticipate needs before they arise, and takes pride in being a trusted partner, connector, and problem-solver. If you're looking to play a critical role at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and execution - this is it.
What you'll do:
Act as a strategic gatekeeper and enabler - managing complex calendars, aligning priorities, and ensuring leaders' time is spent on the highest-impact work.
Own the rhythm of the business - from coordinating staff meetings, off-sites, and leadership sessions to ensuring clear agendas, logistics, and follow-through.
Master complex travel logistics - managing domestic and international travel (including charter and private aviation), often with multiple moving parts and last-minute pivots.
Drive operational excellence - handling expenses, vendor invoicing, and reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
Be a trusted advisor and problem-solver - anticipating needs, offering creative solutions, and helping navigate challenges with discretion and professionalism.
Represent Sam's Club Marketing with confidence and polish - serving as the first point of contact for senior leaders, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
What you'll bring:
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to think two steps ahead and pivot seamlessly in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ServiceNow, Concur, and travel systems.
Strong communication skills - written and verbal - with the ability to represent executives and the organization with professionalism and warmth.
Comfort working in a large, matrixed organization; Walmart experience is a plus, but not required.
A balance of humility and confidence - able to work behind the scenes with discretion while also influencing outcomes and connecting dots across the organization.
