Job Description Summary:
The Manager of Pharmacy Technician Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing all operational, fiscal, and team member aspects of pharmacy technician strategies and activities (including warehouse operations).
This individual will also be responsible for preparing aseptic IV admixtures including chemotherapy preparations. S/he will maintain quality control standards pertaining to the clean room and to routine Laminar Flow Hood/BSC Maintenance as well as all records associated with Quality control of clean room activities. S/he will help to order medication and supplies and enters computer data.

Oversee the daily activities for pharmacy technician and warehouse operations.
Manage pharmacy technician and warehouse budgets and teams.
Responsible for evaluating and developing processes and polices that optimize pharmacy technician and warehouse operations.
Ensures pharmacy technician and warehouse quality standards are met.
Responsible for ensuring inventory levels support demands.
Manages a team of pharmacy technician team members, and warehouse team members. Responsible for scheduling, performance reviews, hiring, and training, etc.
May occasionally be responsible for preparing medications and aseptic IV admixtures including chemotherapy preparations.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 5 years of pharmacy technician experience, OR , at least 2 years of pharmacy technician supervisory experience.
Certified pharmacy technician (CPhT)
Certified Compounding Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) - within 12 months of hire.
Licensed and/or registered (if required by state)
Basic Qualifications
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to make precise measurements and perform tasks repetitively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills
The ability to delegate responsibility appropriately to ensure all work is completed accurately and timely
Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting, and aligning text, selecting font @type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions).
Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).
Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, rearranging, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view and/or running a slide show).

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Pay Range is $71,793.92-$119,664.04
