Job Description

Job Summary:

The Credit Review Specialist is responsible for evaluating credit decisions for new credit card applications and performing account maintenance for existing customers. This role involves direct interaction with Bankers and Customers via phone, providing support, answering inquiries, and ensuring accurate updates to credit card applications and account information.

Key Responsibilities:

-Review and assess new credit card applications to determine creditworthiness.

-Make informed credit decisions in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

-Handle incoming calls from Bankers and Customers, providing professional and courteous support.

-Respond to inquiries related to credit applications and existing accounts.

-Update and maintain accurate records for both new applications and existing accounts.

-Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely processing.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance standards.

2 Shift(s) available : Sunday-Saturday 8am-5pmCST (2 consecutive off days throughout the week) & Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm CST

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Typically less than one year of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

Basic knowledge of credit and risk analysis, economics, accounting and finance

Strong analytical skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.38
