Job Description
The Cloud Identity and Access Management Engineer Lead position is an individual contributor technical leadership role on our IAM cloud security team. This position will own the strategic vision to define our roadmap and ensure delivery of our team's work. This position supports an established team of cloud security engineers.
This role will require someone with strong public cloud platform experience (primarily Azure and AWS) which enables them to understand detailed IAM related topics. Examples include Azure Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Azure Conditional Access, managed identities, Azure MFA, AWS IAM, as well as other related general topics including TLS certificates, encryption keys and broader information security topics as well.
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days at one of the following locations:
Minneapolis, MN
Basic Qualifications:
Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically eight or more years of relevant experience
Thorough understanding of the applicable information security systems, policies, and procedures
Effective communication, presentation skills, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven collaboration and influencing skills
Here are some more specific job duties:
Collaborates with other leaders in IAM and the broader information security team to establishthe strategicobjectives and key performance indicators to support our cloud roadmap.
Reviews cloud-based services, defines IAM requirements, and provides feedback to service owners.
Track and manage team deliverableswithin Jira.
Additional experience:
Experience reviewing, onboarding, or establishing security requirements for cloud services
Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CICD pipelines, and automation. Reviews cloud-based services, defines IAM requirements, and provides feedback to service owners.
Experience in Identity and Access Management is not a requirement. However, to succeed in this role you likely need to be familiar with core IAM concepts including:
Access management (access requests/approvals/reviews/termination)
Role based access (Active Directory groups, Azure Groups, entitlements and roles within SailPoint)
Non-human identities (Service accounts, system accounts, Azure service principals / managed identities, AWS IAM users)

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
