Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator opening in Ware, MA. If you're passionate about logistics, teamwork, and efficiency, we want you on board.

Job Specifications

Job Type: Full-Time

7am- 4pm, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work required

Starting pay $20/hr

Roles and Responsibilities

Operate warehouse forklifts safely and efficiently

Handle, ship, receive, and store customer packaged/pre-packaged products

Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time

Report damaged packages and non-conformances promptly

Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and dock areas

Assist with various warehouse operations as needed

Take product samples and report any contaminants

Input data into the VMU system correctly

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Report incidents, injuries, and safety issues to management

Display and promote Quantix values: Accountability, Caring, Courage, Dedication, Problem Solving, Teamwork

Qualifications & Skills

1+ year of sit-down propane forklift experience (certified license preferred)

At least 6 months of recent daily forklift driving

Valid state driver's license

Ability to lift up to 25 kg for 15 minutes and move pallets up to 34 kg

Ability to pass drug test, background check, and participate in e-verify

No felony convictions in the past 7 years

Drug and physical background screens will be completed prior to placement

Physical Demands:

Must be able to talk, hear, sit, use hands, and manipulate keyboard

Occasionally stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl

Close vision required
