Are you a high-voltage leader who thrives in fast-paced environments? We're looking for a skilled and driven Electrical Construction Manager to lead complex oilfield projects from the ground up. You'll be the powerhouse behind successful installations, overseeing crews, managing timelines, and ensuring every connection sparks excellence.
What You'll Do:
Lead field teams in the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems in active oilfield environments
Oversee construction schedules, budgets, and safety compliance with precision
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure seamless project execution
Inspect and troubleshoot high-voltage systems, panels, motors, and controls
Train and mentor field electricians and foremen to elevate team performance
What You Bring:
5+ years of electrical construction experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial sectors
Licensed electrician required; Journeyman or Master.
Strong leadership skills with a get-it-done mindset
Deep understanding of NEC, OSHA, and oilfield safety standards
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
Must have completed Master Electrician Certificate
Possess a valid driver's license with a good MVR

Additional Job Qualifications:
Able to read blueprints and schematics proficiently to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
Experience managing crews of electricians and or apprentices.
Can demonstrate former knowledge and experience working on medium or high voltage systems.
Knowledgeable in basic electrical theory, for example but not limited to ohms law.
Able to use specialized electrical tools such as but not limited to ohm meters, multi-meters, and terminating devices.
Must be able to terminate both High and low voltage equipment and cable/wiring.
Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical components relative to automation.
Has the ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems for electrical malfunctions.
Can identify different @types, gauges, and color of cables and wires.
Mechanical and electrical knowledge of components relative to automation.
Able to serve as a supervisor for apprentices providing for all the hours, documentation, and support for apprentices to become licensed journeymen.
Other Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficiently identify work opportunities related to electrical contracting and contract for that work to be performed within pricing and process guidelines.
Run Crew and jobs as needed.
Effectively lead and manage people to a high level of performance.
Identify all tools required for tasks.
Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
Install, modify, and fabricate cable tray as necessary according specifications.
Assemble and install electrical equipment.
Terminate wires and cable to electrical equipment such as but not limited to breakers, control panels and distribution systems.
Test electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specifications.
Inspect electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and to ensure the equipment is in good operational condition.
Setup and maintain temporary power systems.
Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures.
Able to follow instructions correctly.
Reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processes is a must.
Can illustrate knowledge and experience of working with a lock out tag out system.
Willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
Able to make it to work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification.
Responsible for obtaining E-Certs or proper licensing for electrical jobs and projects.
Demonstrated proficiency with training of team members in both in class on field training circumstances.
Effectively estimate the time and materials necessary to complete the job and ensure that target margins for the work are regularly achieved.
Continuous learner keeping up with changes in electrical codes and optimal work processes for industrial facilities.
Knowledge of oil field drill sites and the necessary electrical requirements common to such locations.
Work with pure industrial facilities, power plants, manufacturing operations, and similar sites.
Work with process automation controls and equipment like those utilized by the company currently.
Experience with heat-tracing applications.
Other Job Functions:
Provides maintenance support to identify inventory and assist with repair logistics of parts and equipment for SCADA, EGM, RTU, analyzers, gas chromatographs, process transmitters, and various communication equipment.
Effectively hire quality team members that are effective, experienced and motivated.
Responsible for callout on emergency communications outages or problems.
Terminate both high and low voltage equipment and cable/wiring.
Read blueprints to determine the scope of work and order the correct materials.
Assemble and install electrical equipment.
Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures.
May require occasional travel by air or vehicle to out of state locations when requested by Company.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and record allowing for insurance coverage.
Checks and responds to all company communications on all scheduled workdays, including voice mail, emails, and text messages. Makes sure that old voice mails are cleared regularly so that the mailbox does not get full.
Complies with all applicable Company safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
Able to sit and work at computer keyboard for extended period.
Perform general office administrative activities of copying, filing, faxing, and using the telephone.
Install and modify cable tray using hand tools and power tools.
Bend and cut conduit using hand saws, hand tube bending equipment as well as power and hydraulic cutting and tube bending devices.
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 60 lbs. and work at various heights.
