Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst Job Description
The Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing visibility and decision-making across our supply chain through advanced reporting, dashboarding, and data management. The role requires hands-on experience in supply chain operations, with a strong emphasis on creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide real-time insights. Additionally, the analyst will support master data management initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to develop automated reporting solutions, interpret complex data, and drive process improvements through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into supply chain performance across planning, procurement, warehousing, and inventory management.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, BI, and IT teams to refine and optimize reporting and data management systems.
Automate and standardize reporting processes to support decision-making at various levels of the organization.
Analyze supply chain data trends, KPIs, and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective dashboards and reports using tools like PowerBI, Oracle, or other visualization platforms.
Support master data management initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across supply chain systems, including Oracle.
Lead data remediation activities to resolve inconsistencies and improve data quality.
Establish and enforce data governance processes for supply chain attributes to maintain high data integrity.
Conduct advanced data analysis to interpret high-impact business needs and translate findings into actionable recommendations and system requirements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of dashboards, reports, workflows, and data processes, ensuring standardization and continuous improvement.
Provide post-implementation support for reporting tools and dashboards, including user training and troubleshooting.
Proactively seek opportunities to improve reporting automation, data quality, and process efficiency.
Perform other ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and data management activities as needed.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience with a focus on reporting, dashboarding, and data management.
Proven experience developing supply chain KPIs and dashboards in PowerBI, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Understanding of supply chain topics, including planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
Strong expertise in data analysis, visualization, and automation.
Hands-on experience with master data management and data governance practices.
Knowledge of supply chain processes, ERP systems (Oracle, QAD preferred), and MRP systems.
Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling, pivot tables, and macros.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Project management experience is a plus.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
