As a EDI Senior Manager of Information Technology you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end EDI solutions that align with business objectives. This role involves overseeing the technical architecture, ensuring seamless integration with trading partners, and optimizing the EDI platform for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The EDI Architect collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions while maintaining compliance and security standards.
Location: ***Role ideally will be onsite in the Lincolnshire, IL office (Hybrid- Minimum of 3 days in the office per week ) but open to hiring remotely.
Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture Skills:
Architect, design and implement comprehensive end-to-end solutions utilizing EDI transactions.
Handling trading partner specific requirements while ensuring alignment with overarching global solutions.
Technical Proficiency in EDI Platform / Technology:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of common EDI standards, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and TRADACOMS.
Possess experience with integration platforms that support EDI transactions, such as Cleo.
Be familiar with data formats like XML and JSON and their application within EDI frameworks.
Have working knowledge of third-party Value Added Networks (VANs), such as Ariba and IBM.
Business Acumen:
Functional understanding of business processes and how they relate to EDI transactions.
Align EDI solutions effectively with business objectives and requirements.
Technical / Functional Product Manager:
Lead and manage EDI implementation projects with precision
Exhibit skills in planning, scheduling, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders
Platform and Operational Support:
Responsible for round-the-clock production support with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) using Zebra's internal team.
Monitor and enhance the Cleo cloud platform transactions to reduce usage costs.
Collaborate with Cleo product development to advocate for new capabilities needed for Zebra.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
Apply strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction issues.
Optimize processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
Security and Compliance:
Maintain knowledge of data security best practices to safeguard sensitive information during EDI data exchanges.
Understanding of compliance requirements and regulations pertaining to EDI.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Demonstrate strong communication abilities to effectively bridge technical teams and business stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
Engage and communicate proficiently with Zebra's business leadership, as well as with external customers and suppliers.
Experience with ERP Systems:
Have practical experience with EDI-specific integration with Oracle ERP and Siebel, including Trading Partner setup.
Possess functional and technical expertise in the XML Gateway module within Oracle ERP.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
12+ years of experience including a minimum of 5+ years of management experience.
Architect, design and implement comprehensive end-to-end solutions utilizing EDI transactions experience.
Experience with common EDI standards, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and TRADACOMS.
Experience with integration platforms that support EDI transactions, such as Cleo.
Working experience with third-party Value Added Networks (VANs), such as Ariba and IBM
Oracle ERP XML Gateway and Siebel experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Salary: USD 136100.00 - USD 204100.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
