Job Description

We have multiple openings for the position of Manufacturing Chemist II across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for career growth within a thriving Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) in the biotech industry.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with GMP standards and safety protocols.

Proactively identify and report safety hazards and incidents.

Accurately complete GMP documentation and review basic records such as logbooks.

Assist in revising procedures under direct supervision.

Participate in investigations and support execution of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

Contribute to small-scale continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform assigned production activities, ensuring all required training is completed and compliant prior to operations.

Apply basic problem-solving skills to identify abnormal results and escalate issues appropriately.

Demonstrate proficiency in designated process areas.

Essential Skills Needed

Proficiency in pH testing, aseptic technique, buffer preparation, UV Vis spectrophotometry, and general Chemistry.

Experience with GMP, UV Vis, and pH Meter operations.

Knowledge of purification, chromatography, and biotechnology processes.

Two plus years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum education requirements: high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: college-level Chemistry degree or equivalent work experience.

A biotechnology certificate or college degree is preferred.

Knowledge of basic laboratory instrumentation such as use of pH meter, UV instrumentation, and solution delivery systems (process skids).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00/hr.
