Air Quality Project Manager

Our client, a leading environmental services organization, is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to join their team. As an Air Quality Project Manager, you will be part of the Environmental Services department supporting environmental compliance and permitting projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Air Quality Project Manager

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $110-115,000 annually

What's the Job?

Prepare air permit application packages and related documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.

Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections to verify adherence to air quality standards.

Estimate emissions, greenhouse gases, and other pollutants associated with various projects.

Collaborate with clients and team members to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Assist with preparing documents such as Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and filings under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited program.

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; 10 years preferred.

Experience with air pollution permitting, compliance, and environmental audits.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local air quality regulations, especially the Clean Air Act.

Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
