Job Description

Riverland Community College, a member of the Minnesota State system and the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC), seeks a part-time Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. This position supports the Head Coach in developing and administering all aspects of the women's basketball program, including practice, competition, recruitment, and student-athlete support.

Salary Range

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

One (1) year basketball coaching experience OR three (3) years of basketball playing experience.

Preferred Qualification

Associate's degree or higher.

One (1) year basketball coaching experience.

Two (2) to four (4) years of college-level basketball playing experience.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Karen, Karenni, Somali, Pohnpeian, French, Nuer, Anuak, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.

Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
