The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join our team in Renton, Washington; Mesa, Arizona; or Hazelwood, Missouri.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering project-based initiatives for Boeing's North America Payroll organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Human Resources (HR) and Information Technology (IT) to deliver scalable, innovative technology solutions that enable world-class Finance services.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)

Demonstrates proficiency and utilizes program/project management software applications

Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements

Identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet project goals

Identifies project risks, issues, actions, decisions and develops resolution plans

Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan

Monitors project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards

Creates reports, metrics, change activity and communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project

Effectively communicates performance to plan and across stakeholder groups

Provides in-depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans

Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

Provides Subject Matter Expertise, independent reviews, and guidance for deploying common Project Management (PM) processes, tools, and requirements across the enterprise

Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers

Serves as a spokesperson for the PM Processes and Tools, provides training, and acts as an advisor to management and customers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable certification

5+ years of experience in leading others and directing all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards

5+ years of experience working as part of a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team in matrix-@type organizations

5+ years of experience in using PPM (Project Portfolio Management) and/or ADLM (Application Development Life-cycle Management) tools (i.e. MS Project, MS WebApp, Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA) as part of project implementations

5+ years of experience developing and delivering effective presentations to Leadership at all levels

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field

Experience in managing Finance or HR-related projects

Experience in large-scale complex projects using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills and communication / relationship building skills

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for WA: $115,600 - $153,400

Summary pay range for AZ and MO: $107,950 - $146,050
