What we need:
Reporting into the Senior Vice President, Government Programs this position works on a wide range of matters on behalf of the Government Division, including but not limited to facilitating the development, prioritization, and completion of the divisional business plan. Beyond the creation of the divisional business plan, the Associate Director of Strategic Planning and Business Integration will be tasked with representing the Division, coordinating with other divisions within the company to drive performance. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and inter-departmental collaboration. Through this work, the Associate Director of Strategic Planning and Business Integration will:
Lead the division Business Planning to develop a robust and complete multi-year strategic roadmap for the Division and prioritize initiatives within an annual plan.
Coordinate with Divisional leadership to ensure alignment across departments, insight from front line associates, and consistency in messaging throughout entire division.
Facilitating collaboration and communication between departments and aligning their activities with the overall strategic plan
Supporting the Division as a whole, and specific initiative business owners, in dealing with a range of systemic issues limiting effective delivery of strategic plan and directly handle coordination with collaborating teams across the organization, including but not limited to value stream leads, to help address underlying issues
Prepares and/or contributes to the preparation of Board of Director materials: gathers data, creates reports, and prepares presentations for the executive.
Proactively manages and prioritizes the executive's time to ensure that their focus remains on the most critical tasks and strategic initiatives; c reates and manages timelines and priorities to ensure deadlines are met and strategic objectives are achieved; coordinates with various stakeholders on meetings, calls, and events, balancing immediate demands with long-term goals. Monitor progress towards completion of key initiatives, represent progress to leadership, flag key milestones and progress, questions, and barriers to execution, and timely and concisely raise concerns to ensure effective and efficient completion of strategic plan.
Define and evolve divisional processes to help business leads and project manages more effectively navigate corporate planning and approval processes, develop and define clear business cases inclusive of key performance indicators to measure success. Continue to manage and communicate processes throughout the division to drive clarity and ultimately speed to implementation of key business priorities.
Coordinates special projects on behalf of the Division and SVP frequently involving Divisional Senior Leaders and other executives of the organization.
Manage the operational budget on behalf of the division including management of annual spending and creation of annual budget to reach annual targets.
Oversee preparation for and works with divisional leadership to manage major operational meetings, frequently involving executives from across the enterprise. Ensures effectiveness of large cross-divisional projects, working groups, and cross-functional meetings. Facilitate various forums and sessions to drive awareness, commitment, and alignment of overall strategic plan.
Manage sensitive data related to business operations, strategic initiatives, and human resource matters

We're Looking for:
Seasoned professional with extensive general management experience
Solid background in project management and implementation of major initiatives.
Strong communication skills and ability to develop presentations for executive level meetings
Proven track record in delivering business results, overcoming obstacles, and achieving critical milestones
Strong aptitude for relationship management across all levels of the organization; High degree of organizational astuteness and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; A strong sense of collaboration, facilitation, and teamwork
Strong strategic thinking, analytical and research skills; Ability to think at a micro and macro level and leverage data to guide effective decision making
Action-oriented leader, able to effectively solve problems and achieve goals
Strategic vision, diplomacy and political sense
Effective consensus building, negotiation skills with an ability to influence relationships with business partners without direct reporting structure
Ability to balance tactical perspective with the ability to manage strategic direction
Flexibility to work within a changing environment
High degree of initiative; Ability to work both independently and within a team
Knowledge of health care industry and external environment
Experience working with Senior Executives

What You Bring:
7-10 years of business administrative/management experience
BA/BS degree required, advanced degree preferred.

Salary Range: $167,400.00 - $204,600.00
The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
