Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling electrical control panels to meet customer specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance in order to ensure the functionality and reliability of control panels.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical control panels according to customer orders.

Wire control panels, ensuring proficiency with devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, and transmitters.

Maintain necessary U.L. and other quality control files.

Layout components in various sized cabinets.

Mentor junior team members.

Potentially assume a lead role on customer projects.

Essential Skills

Minimum of a high school education.

Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired.

3+ years of experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics, and electrical diagrams.

Experience using hand tools for drilling, tapping, and assembling electrical panels.

Proficiency in reading and working from blueprints/schematics.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Quality Assurance experience.

IPC certification and training is a plus.

Experience with ladder logic schematics.

Ability to operate hand tools efficiently.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, lean manufacturing environment with a team of dedicated professionals. The specific team consists of 10 people, with potential for managing half the team and eventually leading the entire group. This opportunity offers growth in a supportive company culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
