Overview
USU Eastern is seeking a part-time A/V Tech to support audio and lighting needs during events in the Geary Theater and Event Center. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with basic experience or interest in theater tech, live sound, or lighting systems.
Responsibilities
Assist with running lights or sound boards during rehearsals, performances, or special events
Follow directions from the Geary Supervisor and work collaboratively with other event staff
Perform basic equipment checks
Help maintain and organize equipment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Some experience with theater tech (e.g., high school productions, community theater, A/V club, etc.) preferred
Able to learn new equipment and follow technical direction
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Evening and weekend hours may be required and are based on event schedules.
