Human Resources Generalist - Onsite | Hartford, CT

This is a full-time, onsite position offering a 35-hour workweek and an exceptional work-life balance.

What You'll Do

As an HR Generalist, you'll serve as a strategic partner to assigned departments, providing guidance and support across all core HR functions. You'll be instrumental in:

Leading recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination

Conducting new hire orientations and managing onboarding documentation

Supporting employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions

Ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies

Collaborating with program managers to meet funder requirements

Driving process improvements and streamlining HR operations

Utilizing tools such as ADP, Excel, and paper-based systems to manage HR workflows

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a Human Resources Generalist role, ideally within nonprofit or healthcare settings

Skills:

Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (ADP preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $65000.00/yr.
