Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the LIMITED DUTY DEPLOYABLE COORDINATOR DEPT, FORCE IMPROVEMENT DEPARTMENT (N10) of COMNAVAIRLANT. Responsibilities You will oversee and manage the Limited Duty (LIMDU)/Disability Evaluation System (DES) personnel to ensure that these Sailors are fully integrated into assigned organizations. You will provide personnel advice to senior leadership on LIMDU/DES management, and interacting with external organizations and agencies addressing LIMDU manning and administrative management issues You plan and conduct comprehensive in-depth analysis, to include the development of Fleet wide metrics to review and provide assessments of LIMDU distribution. You will serve as the Regional Deployability Coordinator (RDC) providing manning data and analysis. You will manage the assignment of Sailors in a pregnancy and parenthood status. You will ensure that LIMDU/DES personnel attend all their necessary medical and administrative appointments. You will provide technical guidance, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions during the analysis. You will propose and recommend changes to Navy LIMDU and DES policy and guidance as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a GS-12, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience negotiating and coordinating projects and working groups with Echelon I and II, and subordinate commands ensuring that LIMDU/DES and Transient Sailors are assigned in-rate and rank, and the ability/inability of the LIMDU/DES/Transient Sailor's ability to conduct such work. Experience utilizing various programs including Activity Manpower Document (AMD), My Navy Assignment System (MNA), LIMDU Smart, Medical Reporting and Readiness System (MRRS), Message Traffic systems along with associated governing policies and regulations to determine manpower and manning requirements. Experience applying knowledge of principles, theories, and techniques of program research analysis to develop new and innovative approaches to solving LIMDU personnel management issues. Experience exhibiting knowledge in the fields of military manning and military personnel assignments to mitigate friction and manage adequate tracking of LIMDU/DES/Transient personnel. Experience employing force management functions and techniques to justify manning requirements, allocations of positions and documentation to support changes and authorization. Experience demonstrating knowledge of Deployability Category codes (DCATs) and Distributable Navy Enlisted Classification codes (DNEC).
