Description The Opportunity Ulteig is seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil team for the 2026 summer. The selected candidate could support both construction and design, which will provide a well-rounded experience throughout the summer. What You'll Do Design, develop, implement, and analyze engineering systems. Plan preparation that includes but is not limited to grading plans, erosion control plans, traffic control plans, pavement marking, street lighting, underground utility design, and pavement design. Develop plans and specifications that comply with preexisting state and municipality requirements. Demonstrate a wide degree of out-of-the-box thinking, creativity, and design ownership. Perform construction observation duties on assigned projects. Maintain records, construction quantities, checklists, daily reports, and documentation for construction administration projects in accordance with municipality requirements. Coordinate on-site materials testing. Perform work within both office and field settings. What You'll Gain Practical experience applying classroom knowledge to engineering design. What We Expect from You Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering. Prior engineering internship experience preferred. Working Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley Open Roads Designer preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Access or other technical tools is a plus. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work full-time during Summer 2026 with the opportunity to continue internship through the school year based on business needs Must have authorization to work permanently in the US .
